1. Purpose of the Service

This website provides access to membership records and profiles of individual and institutional members of PAARL. It also supports registration and participation tracking for PAARL’s continuing professional development activities.

2. Authentication via Google Sign-In

We use Google Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate users. By signing in with your Google account, you authorize us to access your basic profile information (e.g., name, email address) in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not access or store your Google password.

3. Data Collection and Use

We collect personal information from PAARL members and activity participants for the following purposes:

• Maintaining accurate membership records
• Tracking participation in PAARL events
• Facilitating communication and verification
• Verifying eligibility for scholarships, awards, nominations, and board elections, as well as for discounts on continuing professional development activities

Collected data may include your name, license number (for regular members), email address, contact number, institutional affiliation, and institional address. This data is used solely to fulfill PAARL’s organizational mandates and is processed in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy.

4. Data Protection

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These include HTTPS encryption, access controls, and multi-factor authentication. However, no system is completely secure, and use of the service is at your own risk.

5. Membership and Access

This service is intended for use by PAARL members and authorized participants. Unauthorized access, impersonation, or misuse of credentials is strictly prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Disrupt or interfere with the operation or security of the service

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your personal data may be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill PAARL’s mandates. You may request deletion of your data by contacting the PAARL Board of Directors. Deletion may also occur at the discretion of the Board.
